Internet of thingsOur warehouse in Luxembourg hosts several IoT sensors, which track in real-time both temperature and humidity levels. This data is sent to the blockchain for all to verify. Because it's immutable, Vinesia cannot alter that data.

Bluetooth low energyThis second tag lets owners check in on their stored wine remotely. T° and H° levels are continuously monitored and recorded on the blockchain. You can check these data points near-real time while ensuring your wine is still where we have said it is.

Upon the delivery of wines from the winemakers to our Luxembourg warehouse, a tamper-proof NFC tag is applied directly over the top of the bottle or across the lid of the case. Breaking this seal indicates that the bottle has been opened or tampered with. This NFC tag transmits a unique identifier to the blockchain (Polygon), serving as the wine's certificate of authenticity. This certificate remains valid for the bottle's lifetime, whether stored in our warehouse or after delivery.

Each bottle or case is meticulously cataloged upon arrival and assigned a unique tracking number recorded on the Polygon blockchain, guaranteeing precise identification and traceability.
